Christmas

• make cookies with DeeDee
• each child gets two new tree ornament
• we go and look at all the lights together
• my family use to do a special present that we had to find. we went on a treasure hunt one year he even made us walk the dog to find the next clue. The clue was in the collar and that was the fastest walk the dog had ever been on.
• we always ate breakfast before opening present (hard on the kids) but otherwise it was too late after finishing.
• MiMi get everyone a new stocking and it always has their name on it. We are running out of room on the mantle.
• We have our family Christmas together then we go to the families. We usually spend Thanksgiving at one family and Christmas at the other family on the day. Then we have the one holiday off the day with the other family.
• We always read the bible story.
• I love waking up to bacon frying on Christmas day.
• The D's family always did a Coconut cake for Santa and if their was a piece missing then they knew Santa had come. Well one year there was no piece missing and they thought that he had missed them. Well Santa had taken the bottom of the piece and left the top very funny.
• I finally inherited the nativity set from my mother so now we can put it up at our house.
