Marriage:
1. The act of uniting a man and woman for life; wedlock; the legal union of a man and woman for life. Marriage is a contract both civil and religious, by which the parties engage to live together in mutual affection and fidelity, till death shall separate them. Marriage was instituted
2. The state of being married; a wedding ceremony and attendant festivities; close union
This is the two different defination of marriage. So which defination would you like to have in your dictionary.
Love:
1. Strong affection; warm attachement; attraction based on sexual desires; a beloved person; unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for others; a score of zero in tennis
2. In a general sense to be pleased with; to regard with affection, on account of some qualities which excite pleasing sensations or desire of gratification. Courtship; chiefly in the phrase, to make love, that is, to court; to woo; to solicit union in marriage. Patriotism; the attachment one has to his native land; as the love of country. Benevolence; good will. God is love. 1 John 4. The object beloved. The lover and the love of human kind. A word of endearment. Trust me, love. Picturesque representation of love. Such was his form as painters, when they show Their utmost art, on naked loves bestow. Lewdness. He is not lolling on a lewd love-bed. A thin silk stuff.
