This is the new floor after removing the carpet, and the new colors (sky blue sort of and a butter cream)!!
This is the old color and the old carpet. White and shaggy that has seen better days!I work with the manager yesterday and we were so busy but it was not stressful. I would almost say funny. We meet our goals and went over them. We also worked very well together and I did most things right. Only a couple of problems.
My sweet father in law and brother in law moved a new stove, new bunk beds, and a new dresser into my house and then correct rooms. Thanks so much you guys. I would do it my self as I told them but it might not end up in one piece. I have riped up the carpet in my daughters room and I will rip up the carpet in my room next. The walls are painted and the house is starting to look better. I am sorry Aunt M. I know this is not what grandma wants to hear. I will post pictures at the bottom of before and after. I don't grandma to fret so don't show them to her (you can decide how she will take it). My extra job has given my a new found joy for life and made money not so wearisome.
Also the sewing machine took a turn for the worst. I only wish that it just had the flu. So I call the company to have them help me out. Their options drive four hours to a qualified machine expert, or take it with the receipt to Wally World and have them send it to Nashville TN. Like get really those are my only options and they said yes. Well here is the kicker I didn't have the receipt. So how I have the option of sending it to TN at my own cost!!!! I know it not that heavy but shipping it to TN can't be that cheap!!!! So I took it to a guy in town. He changed the needle and it started working. How dumb I felt!!! But after coming home the machine is still not fix. You would think that I would learn this company is the worst possible company to buy machines through. I bought one in high school and took it back two times and then bought another new one and they all broke!!! (Sorry about that long run on sentence)

Wow! You've really been working hard! That's so great that those beautiful hardwood floors were under the carpet. Is there wood all through the house under carpet? What a cheap way to make a HUGE difference! And I really like the blue you chose - very pretty.
We missed you on the retreat. It would have been lots better if you had been there. =( I hope you had a good weekend anyway......
The hard wood floors are beautiful. We had them for years and I spent many hours on my knees waxing them. I was so glad when we got carpet. Altho carpet is going out of style. Sorry about your sewing mechine. I know what it is like when they are giving you trouble. You are doing a beautiful job fixing your house.
