Happy 4th of July

So we didn't get to see any real fireworks but we say some on the t.v. While not the same it was good because they came with great music, no smoke, and no deafen sounds. Then I tried to help my child understand what this was all for. I basically said that it is a big birthday party for our country. Then we had to get out the map, because to her the biggest you get is Texas. And yes for all you Texans out their (including my husband) Texas is in its own category. But it is fun to read how different people remember their independence.
I think of the independence as the freedom to worship the one and only God freely. That is something that I some times forget is not available to everyone. I also love that you can marry any one. Because I am not sure I would have like my mom picking who I married (sorry mom I still love you). I love that we are free to work where we want even if we can't find a job lol. We are blessed in so many ways and I say thanks to everyone that made that possible!!!!!!
