La babysitting another kids.
This is a very funny story but embarrassing too.
A has been use the word sex. She doesn't understand what it means but due to some new commercials on TV she picked up the word. So she was asked to leave our room and I think go pick up her toys in the other room. As she is leaving this is what she tells her sister "We need to leave so mom and dad can have sex. (We were kissing and that is all)" After we finished dying laugh that she just said that we set down and had a talk. Then the next day she told her grandma that she hoped that she got home it time for the sex. Yes this is what she said, so I don't think we explained it well enough. So we have another discussion and this one involves tell her that she needs to use the word lovey dovey moments instead. So how she stops and looks at use and say what that word I have to use. She think sex is anytime that mom kisses daddy. So I hope that if anyone feels offended that they forgive me and find the funny side of this. She is getting better and I hope that this doesn't keep popping up. I really don't want to have the whole big talk when she FIVE seriously. So have any of you guys had this problem or are we the only ones struggling with this problem.

hee-hee... i laughed. i hope she does not come into daisies to tell any stories! jk!
Hahahahaha!!!!! That's so funny!
I was able to just give John David the definition of sex as being male or female for a while. He's 8 now, so Daddy did have a talk with him a few months back.
Nothing has come up with Julia yet, surprisingly enough. If ever a child was going to say stuff like that I would bet on her!
When we were in still in SA and JD was about 4 or 5, we were sitting at home with some of our youth leaders and he walked up to one of the single guys and said, "So-and-so, do you have sex?" This leader did not know what to say to this little boy! John looked at his leader and said, "Just answer the question!" ;)
We found out later that JD had heard the word on tv and had no idea what it meant. Makes me want to throw our tvs away!
Hope you guys get it straightened out. In the meantime, keep us posted because it's hilarious!
Too funny...I needed a good laugh this morning...so thank you so much...See ya'll tomorrow...love ya
Yeah we've had sort of the same problem. Caleb one time told his teacher that he wanted to buy a game from the Santa Shop at school for his Mommy and Daddy because "they play games under the covers all the time". I laughed so hard I was crying! Turns out that he just wanted the game for himself and would say anything to get it!
My kids haven't said that word, but that's funny. I'm sure that it can be very embarrassing, too. I have a 3 yr old that loves to shock people and do whatever he isn't supposed to do. He learned "o my god" from tv and used it in front of my pastor a couple of times. Now, he's saying "damnit". Ugh.
